2020世界人工智能大会 (WAIC 2020) 云端峰会将于7月9日开幕，今年大会的主题为“智联世界，共同家园 (Intelligent Connectivity, Indivisible Community)”，旨在共建行业顶级盛会智能新平台，共商后疫情时期全球治理新方案，共享新经济、”新基建“发展新机遇，将运用5G、VR/AR等最新技术并采用线上为主、线上线下结合的形式开展。
The 2020 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2020) Summit Online will open on June 9th, under the theme of “Intelligence Connectivity, Indivisible Community”. WAIC 2020 aims to jointly build a new, intelligent platform for industries, to discuss the new global governance during the post-pandemic era, and to share the opportunities provided bynew economy and “new infrastructure” development. WAIC 2020 will use the latest technologies, such as 5G and VR/AR, to present an integration of online and onsite summits. The Conference invited more than 550 high-level guests from all over the world to share their insights, including LI Yong, the Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), ZHAO Houlin, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and other leaders of international organizations; 7 Turing Award recipients including Manuel Bloom and Judea Pearl, Nobel Prize recipient Thomas Sargent and other world-class experts; senior executives of international giants, including LI Yanhong, CEO of Baidu, Christian Klein, CEO of SAP SE, as well as leaders in different industries. Top investment companies were also invited to bridge creative products, innovative team and high-quality capital to realize industrialization.
UNIDO has been supported WAIC for 3 consecutive years to actively promote international investment and technological cooperation in the AI sector in order to foster industrial transformation and upgrading. During WAIC 2020, LI Yong, the Director General of UNIDO, will deliver a speech at the Opening Ceremony.
